What We Do

Our members represent farmers, ranchers, and fishers who are learning from each other and taking action to change the inequities in our farm and food system. Our work is always driven by these grassroots organizations and guided by a firm commitment to racial equity.

OUR STRATEGIES

We work on Capitol Hill and around kitchen tables; connecting people locally, nationally, and internationally; and building movements and broad-based campaigns. Through these four key strategies, we grow support and spur action for a fair farm and food system:

Impacting federal legislation and policy

Building coalitions

Working through international networks

Leading advocacy campaigns
